The Anger Status increases a character's attack power by 1.5x in Suikoden 2 HD Remaster. Learn what the Anger status does, how to get it, and find out if the status effect will stay after battle.
List of Contents
When a character is affected by the Anger status, their attack power increases by 1.5 times, allowing them to deal significantly more damage.
If a party member is protecting someone and dies, the protected character will gain the Anger status for the rest of the battle. For example, if Shiro is protecting Kinnison when he's in critical condition and an enemy attacks, Shiro will take the hit.
Conversely, If Shiro dies, Kinnison will gain the Anger status and have a 1.5x attack boost for the remainder of the fight.
List of All Characters and Recruitment Guide
The Bright Shield Rune has a spell called Battle Oath, which heals all allies for 300 HP and has a 50% chance to inflict the Anger status on them. This rune is exclusive to the protagonist.
Equipping a Fury Rune grants the Anger status permanently, keeping the 1.5x attack boost active for the entire battle.
How to Get Fury Rune and Effects
By equpping the Fury Rune, Oulan will always have the Anger status on. This means she can always use her Angry Dragon Rune.
If you want to use her as a main physical attacker, you have to equip both runes.
How to Recruit Oulan and Stats
The Anger status does not carry over between battles. Once the fight ends, the status is removed, meaning you'll need to reapply it in the next battle if needed.
