How to Protect Party Members

Take A Fatal Hit for A Dying Member

Protect

Certain characters will automatically step in to take a hit when a related party member is in critical condition (low HP) and is targeted by a single-target attack that will ultimately kill them.

Only Works For Single Target Damage

Protect

This protection mechanic only activates for single-target physical or magical rune attacks.

AoE attacks will bypass this mechanic, meaning protected characters can still take damage from group-wide attacks.
