Generic Runes | Generic Runes can be equipped by anyone and is not limited to any party member. |
Unique Runes | Unique Runes are character specific runes only equipped by specific party members. |
Weapon Runes | Weapon Runes are best attached to the character's weapons to deal greater damage. |
Exploration Runes | Exploration Runes are equipped to a character to aid in exploration such as doubling money and EXP earned per battle. |

The Fury Rune enables many characters to be physical attack powerhouses. Not only does it strengthen your physical damage, but it also enables certain Unite Attacks and unique Runes as well.
We recommend to pair it with other physical-based Runes like Double-Strike Rune, Double-Beat Rune, and other Runes that benefit from the damage boost.

The best character-specific rune is Soul Eater, equipped by the Hero of the previous game, Tir Mcdohl. Instant kill attacks, like Deadly Fingertips and Hell, are great for battles with weak enemies.
While these spells are unusable in boss battles, his other spells like Black Shadow and Judgment are strong damaging spells that are great for groups and bosses, respectively.
