How to Unlock the Restaurant

Recruit Tai Ho

To open the Restaurant in the Headquarters, talk to Tai Ho after defending Two River City from the Highland Army.

Find Tai Ho in Headquarters at Castle Level 2

Tai Ho can be found on the second floor of the Headquarters when your castle is Level 2. Talk to him and he will create the Restaurant.

To go there, head to the second floor. Then, go right until you reach an area with stairs in between two entrances. Go inside and head down until you arrive at a balcony with Tai Ho.

How to Use Restaurant

Use Recipes to Create a Menu

You can use the recipes you have collected to add dishes to your Restaurant's menu. Then, you can buy it from Tai Ho. These dishes are unique restorative items that can heal more HP than Medicine and, with seasoning, give a unique buff.

Needs Ingredients and Seasonings

To add a dish to the menu, you need the prerequisite amount of ingredients. To get more ingredients, you need to add the Ranch for meat, the Farm for vegetables, and Fishing for fish to the Headquarters.

Though seasonings are not required, it can give the dish additional buffs like increasing the HP it restores, curing a specific status condition, or provide buffs. However, some can give a debuff instead so make sure to check its effect.

Earn Passive Potch

After making a menu, the Restaurant will earn Potch as you play the game. Visit the Restaurant every in-game hour to collect some Potch.

Participate in Cooking Minigame

Opening the Restaurant will also unlock cook-offs where you test your recipes against a rival chef! These are occasional events that happen when you visit the Restaurant.

The rewards for these battles are additional recipes and a side plot separate from the main story. Consider visiting the restaurant sometimes if you want to play a fun and interesting minigame.
