Recipe 26 (Teriyaki)

BBQ Bomb Lamb (x2)
Red Pepper
Casts Dancing Flames, dealing 300 damage to all enemies.

Recipe 26, Teriyaki, can give you a dish that can damage a big group of enemies for farming items. You need Red Pepper to turn Teriyaki to a BBQ Bomb.

You can find it as a Rare Find in the Item Shop of Highway Village.

Recipe #28 (Curry Rice)

Mayonnaise
Recovers 700 HP with a 60% chance to cause Invulnerable.
Red Curry ・Potato (x1)
Pork (x2)
Red Pepper
Casts Red Curry, damaging 1 enemy based on the level of the caster.

This recipe makes Curry Rice. You can find it in the Item Shop in Gregminster as a Rare Find.

Mayo Curry is a fantastic restorative item that can help a drying party member in a pinch. If you swap the Mayonnaise for Red Pepper, you can create Red Curry: an offensive item that scales with your characters' levels.

Recipe #30 (Ramen)

Soy Sauce
Recovers 500 HP and removes all status effects.

The Soy Sauce Ramen from Recipe 30 can be obtained by winning the seventh Cook-off. By making the dish with Soy Sauce, you can create a strong healing item that also removes all status effects.

You can create a stronger version of this dish with Recipe 38 (Sashimi Platter): Queen of the Sea. You can get it by winning the eleventh Cook-off.

Recovers 900 HP with a 60% chance to cause Boost.
Flaming Sea Tomato (x3)

Red Pepper
Cures Unconscious and restores a third of the character's HP.

The most powerful recipe for healing is the Chinese Banquet. It can only be obtained by completing all the cook-offs in the Cooking Minigame.

Not only does it restore 900 HP, it has, with the addition of Salt, a 60% chance to give a character Boost. With Red Pepper, it can be a purchasable alternative to a Healing Wind Scroll, though it costs 10000 Potch.

To get ingredients to create dishes in the Restaurant, you have to unlock the Ranch, Farm, and Fishing facilities in your Headquarters. You should be able to unlock all of these when you arrive in Forest Village and have your Castle at Level 2!

Buy Seasonings in Trading Posts

Suikoden II - Buy Seasoning in Trading Shops

You can only get seasonings in Trading Posts, found in certain cities. They are stores with a weighing scale in their signpost.

You only need one instance of it to unlock in the Restaurant. After creating a dish with it, you can store it in the Warehouse or sell it in Trading Posts.
