Upgrade Your Weapons

Speak to the blacksmith in the shop and pay Potch to sharpen your weapons. Upgrading a weapon increases the attack power of the character who wields it.

Not all character weapons start with level 1. So expect to spend less for some!

The maximum level for a weapon is Level 16 and each upgrade costs more than the last.

If you are aiming to upgrade your party's weapons to maximum, it will cost you a total of 336,100 Potch per character!

Collect the Blacksmith Hammers found in the world, and give them to Tessai when you have him as the blacksmith at HQ. This will further the maximum you can upgrade the party's weapons.
