The Trading Post is where you can sell and buy trade items from all over the world of Suikoden 2 HD Remaster. Read on to learn how to use and unlock the Trading Post, what to do in the Trading Post, and to check the list of all trade items!

How to Unlock the Trading Post

Recruit Gordon

At Castle Level 3, players can recruit Gordon by speaking to him at the trading shop in Gregminster. Accept his challenge and return to him after making 50,000 Potch from selling items.

After Gordon moves to your Headquarters, the Trading Post will open.

Located in the Headquarters Shop Row

The Trading Post is found by going north from the entrance, past the east side of the tavern and storehouse and is identifiable by a sign with a pair of scales on it. The Armor Shop, Blacksmith, Rune Shop, and Scroll Maker will be located in this alley once they open, as well.

Other than the Headquarters, there are Trading Posts located in various towns and cities throughout Suikoden 2.

Each trading post will buy and sell various trade items for different prices. These prices will also vary periodically.

What To Do at the Trading Post

Buy Trade Items

Each Trading Post will have a different price for various trade items available.

You can also purchase an item in one trading post and sell it for more in another one. If the price for a certain item is low at a Trading Post, you could to sell to a another Trading Post.

You can also buy antiques to decorate the Headquarters like paintings, ornaments, and pottery.

Acquire Seasonings for Cooking

Some trade goods, like Salt or Sugar, can be used for cooking with Hai Yo. Buy at least one of each seasoning to use in the Restaurant and in Cook-Off contests. Then, you can put them in your Warehouse or sell it to another Trading Post.

Acquire Items for Recruitment

The character Lebrante requires a Celadon Urn item to recruit. If you cannot find a Celadon Urn from monster drops or the Rope Climbing Minigame, you can purchase a Celadon Urn from the Trading Post in Gregminster.

Sell Trade Items at a Higher Price

Each Trading Post will have a certain trade item they want to buy fromyou. Find a Trading Post that will pay a high price for a certain trade item and sell it to them to make a profit!
