The Golden Wolf, despite its status as a boss, has a low HP at 3,500. That means a sufficiently strong party can take it down rather easily, though it's resistant to all forms of magic.

Use Powerful Physical Attacks to Take It Down

So, focus on using strong physical attacks with your characters. Unite attacks like the Hero and Nanami's Family Attack and Flik and Viktor's Cross Attack are two good examples already.

The rest of your party members can either do normal attacks or cast spells (the Gold Wolf may be resistant to all magic, but not invulnerable to all magic).

You Can Encounter More Golden Wolves

After the first encounter with the Golden Wolf, you can encounter more Golden Wolves in Muse City. But if you don't want to fight them, you can run past them instead, though you will leave your soldiers to fend for themselves.
