List of Contents
To access the Rope Climbing Game, you need to upgrade your castle to Level 2 by recruiting at least 31 characters. Once you have your Castle at Level 2, head to the laundry area which can be accessed through the gate north of Hai Yo's restaurant within the castle.
Headquarters Facilities and Upgrades
The entrance to the laundry area can be easy to miss, as it is obscured by a gate that does not look passable at first glance. Just keep going north of Hai Yo's restaurant and you'll reach the laundry area for the game.
In this area, you'll find a soldier standing by the edge of the cliff. He'll ask if you're up for a spot of rock climbing, and will initiate the Rope Climbing Game.
Rope Climbing Game Mechanics |
---|
|
The Rope Climbing Game is played between you and two computer-controlled opponents.
Each contestant will take turns rolling a die to determine how many steps up the rope they will climb. A gauge on the left side tracks their progress up the rope.
Rolling a 1 on the die causes the contestant to slide down to the nearest marker.
Contestants can choose to spend their turn placing a marker instead of rolling the dice.
Placing a marker prevents a player from sliding all the way to the bottom if they roll an unlucky 1 on the dice.
Rope Climbing General Tips |
---|
|
Place markers at the halfway point on the rope or higher.
If you are knocked down from higher than halfway up the rope, it's almost impossible to catch up afterward.
The results of the die rolls are random, which means that any given roll could result in a 1 and cause you to be knocked down.
Balance the risk of being knocked down with the need to make fast progress up the rope to win the best prizes.
Check your opponents' progress regularly.
If you're far in the lead, put down a marker to mitigate the risk of being knocked out of the race by an unlucky roll.
If they're even or ahead of you, consider taking a risk on rolling without putting down a marker so you can catch up.
