Speak to Koh in Banner Village with Suikoden 1 Save File

Tir McDohl becomes accessible to players if they have save data from the last save point in Gregminster in Suikoden 1. Players can recruit Tir McDohl by speaking to Koh in Banner Village after defeating Luca Blight. Agree to Koh's quest, and speak to Gremio or Ellie. After that, agree to save Koh and finish the quest. Mcdohl can be found in Gregminster available to recruit.

Having to run back to re-recruit him every time you want to use him is a huge pain. Your party is force-wiped quite often due to story events. So it really makes him highly unattractive to use when there are characters with similar or better power. He's just for the nostalgia, in my opinion.

You will have to go back and recruit him every time he is forced removed from the party. Yea he is good… but the 3-5 min trip to get him every time… he shouldn’t be listed as SS.
