Obtain All 56 Trophies

Obtaining all 56 trophies in both Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster titles will earn you the Suikoden Platinum trophy. There are only 14 trophies that you can get exclusively in Suikoden 1, and 2 trophies can be obtained in both games excluding the Platinum. The rest you can achieve by playing Suikoden 2 HD Remaster.

A total of 19 trophies can be obtained in Suikoden 1, including the Platinum trophy assuming you played the sequel first. 5 out of 19 trophies can be obtained in Suikoden 2, while the rest are exclusive to Suikdeon 1.

These are some of the things you should do to get all the other trophies that you're not able to get just by playing through the story.

Finish the Story in Hard Mode

Hard mode increases enemy stats, making them more resilient and deal more damage. Finishing the game in hard mode requires you to level up to increase stats, recruit the right characters, and optimize your formation to handle tougher enemies.

Recruit All Characters

Recruiting all characters is no easy feat, as you must be careful with your actions and choices, since you might miss characters while progressing through the story.

For instance, you must win as Pahn against Teo Mcdohl during their duel to avoid losing Pahn entirely. Most of the generals in the Imperial Army can be recruited, so avoid executing them, even if you really wanted to, in order to add them to your ranks.

Collect All Paint

Collect all of the paint for Ivanov's painting to get a trophy! These paints can be found in treasure chests and item shops in-game, so always be on the lookout!

Execute Unite Attacks

Unite Attacks are combos performed by specific characters to unleash strong attacks on enemies. They do not cost anything to activate, but some cause characters to become unbalanced, preventing them from acting on the next turn.
