Avoid Using Fire and Lightning Bring a Strong Healer Upgrade Your Armour

Avoid Using Fire and Lightning

Unlike the original game, Ain Gide only has two resistances in Fire and Lightning. Make sure to avoid using these types of attacks so that you can maximize your damage against this boss.

Since Ain Gide doesn't have any exploitable weakness, you'll want to use the Hero's Final Judgement to burst down this boss. Also, make sure that your magic users have either the Cyclone or Mother Earth Runes equipped to use their highest damage spells as well.

Bring a Strong Healer

Just like many other bosses, Ain Gide likes using a lot of area-of-effect attacks against your entire party. Have a character equip the Flowing Rune and use AoE healing spells to keep your party's health bars topped up.

Flik	Best Rune: Cyclone Rune • Though Ain Gide is resistant to Wind Magic, the "Shining Wind" spell can still damage him and heal your allies at the same time. • Flik should act more as a secondary healer in this fight.
Viktor	Best Rune: Clone Rune • Once Viktor uses his Clone Rune, have him defend or have Flik use "Healing Wind" to remove his Unbalanced status ailment so he can use his Clone Rune again without having to wait one turn.
Valeria	Best Rune: Falcon Rune • Use her Falcon Rune for consistent damage.
Hero	Best Rune: Soul Eater • His "Judgement" spell is your best asset in this battle. Keep him alive for as long as possible.
Kirkis	Best Rune: Flowing Rune • Your healer for the party. Use "Rain of Kindness" right after Ain Gide does any of his AOE attacks to keep your characters alive.
