How to Use Unite Magic

Use Compatible Level 4 Spells on the Same Turn

Fire
Lightning Earth
Water Wind

To use Unite Magic two characters must cast level 4 spells of compatible elements that are adjacent to each other in the table above.

For example, Character A uses Water Magic. To do Unite Magic with Character A, Character B must either use Lightning Magic or Wind Magic. If Character A has Lightning Magic, then Character B should have either Fire or Water Magic.

You'll know you've successfully executed a Unite Magic if you saw both characters cast spells at the same time.

Suikoden 1 - Using Unite Magic

Your party will not be able to use Unite Magic in the first place if you don't have at least two characters equipped with magical runes.

If you intend to use Unite Magic in your playstyle, make sure the elements of the runes you will give them are compatible with one another. If you gave Character A a Fire Rune, make sure to give either a Lightning Rune or Earth Rune to Character B.
