Limited-time Offer From Amazon

The highly awaited sequel to the blockbuster game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, was launched just a few days ago. But despite the game's recent release, it is already being offered at a discounted price in various retail stores like Amazon.

The limited-time offer provides a $10 discount on the game, but only for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X console versions. This discount does not apply to digital releases of the game or its PC port.

Furthermore, the deluxe edition of Jedi: Survivor on PS5 qualifies for the $10 digital coupon, while the Xbox version only includes a 7% discount. Fans interested in buying the game for either of these consoles should act fast since the offer is only available until May 6, 2023.

In addition to Amazon, Target is offering a special deal: those who purchase the PS5 or Xbox versions online will receive a $10 gift card as a bonus.

Sale Comes After Reports of Defective PC Port

The sale comes following complaints about the game's PC port, which was plagued with performance issues. Fans reported numerous technical issues which made the game unplayable on their computers, leading to flak for both EA and Respawn Entertainment.

Despite these issues, however, critics have applauded the improvements made to the game over its predecessor, Fallen Order. They praised the game's expanded combat system, improved level design, and more engaging storyline.

The sale may be a way to appease disgruntled fans. Then again, May 4, which is effectively 'May the 4th' or Star Wars Day, is also fast approaching. So it's also possible that the sale is just a coincidence.
