Content Creator Packs
On March 22nd, 2023, Cities: Skylines 8th year celebration includes releasing three content creator packs and radio stations. The first content creator pack, Africa in Miniature, includes 28 new buildings inspired by existing urban masterpieces and unique architectural concepts. This pack explores exceptionally diverse architecture, vibrant colors, and a unique urban mix, all inspired by the African continent.
The second content creator pack, Sports Venues, focuses on providing the city with everything it needs to satisfy its sports needs. This pack includes large stadiums with realistic football, baseball, and football animations and built-in public transport options.
The third content creator pack, Shopping Malls, offers 60 assets, including department stores, shopping plazas, and fast-food restaurants, allowing players to build a bustling commercial district within their city.
Additionally, a set of content packs and mini-expansions from Colossal Order will be released in May.
Radio Stations and Hubs and Transport
The radio stations in the sequel add even more immersion to the game. JADIA Radio Station features 16 tracks from musician Wan Shey, who pays homage to his country's musical traditions. 80's Movie Tunes offers players 15 tracks and around 70 minutes of music from classic 80's movies. Lastly, Pop-Punk Radio has 75 minutes of high-energy tunes perfect for players who want to create a lively and vibrant city.
Finally, the Hubs and Transport free content update will improve the City Skylines base game's transport system, as well as the AfterDark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, and Mass Transit expansions. This will make it easier for players to manage their city's transportation infrastructure and keep their citizens moving efficiently.
