Warside Gameplay
Warside is a fast-paced, turn-based tactics game that evokes the nostalgic gameplay of classic Advanced War titles on the Game Boy while at the same time introducing certain innovations. Players command over 25 unit types—from tanks, artillery, submarines, and warships to helicopters, jet aircraft, and specialist infantry like snipers, medics, mortar teams, and saboteurs. The game features 14 playable Commanders, each possessing distinct passive abilities and Battle Powers that can be strategically deployed to maximize their impact.
Warside also offers a single-player campaign that consists of over 30 missions and supports cross-platform multiplayer for both local and online play. A built-in mission editor allows players to create and share custom maps for both single player and multiplayer modes.
Warside Story Plot
Warside's premise centers around leading Commanders in tactical battles. The game’s single-player campaign consists of over 30 missions, including classic battles, escort and rescue operations, and covert missions—all of which tie to significant story events.
While the story primarily serves as a backdrop to the combat, the core narrative focuses on a world at war, where you, as the player, must lead your chosen Commander and their forces to victory across various terrains and battlefields.
