The Electric State: Kid Cosmo is an adventure puzzle game within a narrative-driven game. Players follow Sister and brother, Michelle and Chris, as they go through their daily lives in fear of the robot usurpers. The Electric State: Kid Cosmo is a prequel to the upcoming film of the same name, directed by the Russo Brothers and starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. The game tells the backstory of the two Sister and Brother, Michelle, and Chris, as they live their mundane lives under the rule of the robots in the 80s. The siblings bond and pass the time by playing Kid Cosmo, seeking to tune out the horrifying news of the robots’ control over the world.
The game narratively unfolds in the background as the two kids play, and gives backstory that was left out of the film, which the directors still felt obliged to include in their overall story in the form of the game.
