Prologue: Go Wayback! Gameplay

Prologue: Go Wayback! is an open-world survival game where players are only equipped with the bare minimum – a map, and some survival tools. They must use their tools to collect resources, craft items, and survive in the wild and accomplish their goal of reaching the weather station to signal their rescue. Scavenge any abandoned items and fix them up through your skills. Discover empty houses full of supplies to stock up on food and get out while undetected.

The open-world will be procedurally generated and therefore no playthrough will be the same. Players can take refuge under naturally-made shelters in some areas, whereas in others there will be none at all. The weather can range from sunny daylight, harsh winds, or thunderous rainstorms that will force travels to seek safety.

Prologue: Go Wayback! Story

Players are plopped into the middle of a vast landscape, with only one goal in mind– to reach the towing weather station and signal their rescue. However, each player’s story will differ from playthrough to playthrough, as with the procedurally generated world, how the players achieve their goal will be completely different from one another. Prologue: Go Wayback! is an open book, and it’s up for the players to write their own story.
