Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Gameplay

As a compilation of classic fighting games, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 features two individual players fighting each other with a set of kicks and punches as inputted through button presses. Several button combos make way for combos and skills that are unique per character.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 supports online casual, ranked, and lobby play for all eight games included, as well as a High Score Challenge mode for players to aim for the top of the global leaderboards. Additionally, those who want to hone their skills in a more controlled environment can head to the Training Mode to improve, with input display settings, hit boxes for 2D titles, and damage numbers to see just how hard the character is hitting.

Each game has their own set of Fighter Awards or challenges that players can tackle to receive medals that can be displayed on their online profile.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Story Plot

While Capcom Fighting Collection 2 does not have a central plot, each of the individual titles have their own setting and story unique to them. For example, the Power Stone series is set in the 19th century where believers of legends and myths aim for fame and fortune— the fabled Power Stone is one of these sought-after treasures, and the characters commence into a large-scale brawl for acquisition of the treasure. Other games may or may not have a standard plot but have a specific setting.
