DELTARUNE Tomorrow?? - March 21 Update
After a series of weeks where Toby Fox took to his social media accounts to update fans over the progress of DELTARUNE's bug testing on consoles, he has used the most recent week to put UNDERTALE on its lowest sale ever at $1 for the duration of the Steam Spring Summer Sale of 2025.
With streak of updates broken, where its last spoke of how only one bug was found by playtesters, and with UNDERTALE breaking its high concurrent player record on the platform, the hype surrounding Toby Fox is prime time for a release date announcement for DELTARUNE.
Update: Confirmed to be Releasing in 2025!
Toby Fox has finally confirmed that Chapters 3 and 4 will finally be coming out in 2025! Although a set release date it still unknown, we'll be sure to stay up to date with the incoming news! Check back for more information!
Chapter 3 and 4 Set to Release at the Same Time, Date Still Unknown
As per Toby Fox in the Halloween 2024 UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE Newsletter, Chapter 3 and 4 of DELTARUNE will be released at the same time once Chapter 4 has concluded development! However, as of writing, no set release timeframe has been mentioned, though progress is steadily being made!
We may see the release of Chapter 3 and 4 in the near future, perhaps before the end of 2024!

DELTARUNE Chapter 2 was released on September 17, 2021 for Windows, and later on for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 23, 2021.

Is DELTARUNE on Xbox Game Pass?
The game is currently not available on Xbox Game Pass, but since UNDERTALE was once part of the service, perhaps the game will join the lineup in the future.
Is DELTARUNE on PS Plus?
The game is not available for PS Plus.

During the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, it was announced that DELTARUNE so far, alongside the new Chapters 3-4, will be launch-day titles for thhe console on June 5, 2025.
September 17, 2021 | Chapter 2 Release + Switch Versions
After nearly 3 years, DELTARUNE’s second chapter was finally released in September 2021. It was initially supposed to be a paid addition, but Toby Fox decided to release it for free as a gift for fans’ patience for the long wait.
October 31, 2018 | Initial Reveal
DELTARUNE was initially revealed as a surprise game by Toby Fox, randomly uploaded as a suspicious .exe file online. Downloading and running the .exe file would open up the first chapter of DELTARUNE.
