The Total Playtime for Suikoden HD Remaster is 50 to 65 Hours

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster is a set of Suikoden 1 and Suikoden 2, so the total playtime can extend to 50 to 65 hours. Additionally, Suikoden 2 has more mechanics and a longer game length than Suikoden 1.

Suikoden 1 Will Take 20 to 25 Hours

It takes 20 to 25 hours to beat Suikoden 1. The play time will vary if you recruit all the characters for the Golden Ending. It will take 20 hours if you finish the game without recruiting the other characters.

Suikoden 2 Will Take 30 to 45 Hours

The estimated clear time for Suikoden II is about 30 to 45 hours if you aim for the good ending while collecting all 108 Stars of Destiny (i.e., all the recruitable characters). When the strategy team played while collecting the characters and the items for the base facilities, they were able to clear the game in about 35 hours.

There are 108 Stars of Destiny in Suikoden 1, though the game has a total of 111 characters you can meet and recruit, which include 78 playable characters in combat and 33 non-combat characters.

Suikoden 2 has a total of 117 characters which include 81 playable characters in combat and 36 non-combat characters, and features 108 Stars of Destiny in Suikoden 2 to recruit.

Suikoden 1 has no post game content. After clearing the story and finishing the game, it is recommended to start playing Suikoden 2.
