Is There a Special Edition?

Yes, but Only Exclusive to Japan

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster has a physical Special Edition that can be pre-ordered, but it is unfortunately exclusive only to Japanese audiences. The Japanese Special Edition will be released on the same day of March 6, 2025 through Amazon pre-orders.

There has been no word whether the Special Edition will become available globally in the future. However, it has special pre-order bonuses that can be availed digitally.

Pre-ordering Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster will grant players the above bonuses within the ‘Special Item Pack’ for both games within the remaster collection. Players will be given prompts at the start of each new game whether they would like to initiate their adventures with the additional items.
