The remastered versions of Suikoden 1 and Suikoden 2 add two modes that affect battles, namely, Auto-Battle and Double-Speed Battle Mode. In Auto-Battle mode, the game will automatically decide the actions of your allies for your party's turn. While Double-Speed Battle Mode speeds up the simulations of the actions during combat.

These allow you to enjoy stress-free combat, but take note that automating your battle commands won't always guarantee a win.

Character Dialogue Logs

Another new feature in Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster is the dialogue log. This allows you to review lines of dialogue of various characters, as well as dialogues in conversations.

In the remaster, you will be able to revisit specific story events, dialogue, and more to keep track of information.
