Starfield Will Get More Updates This Year
Bethesda Teases Development Updates for Starfield
Starfield looks like it will be having more updates, adding more content and features later this year. The official Twitter (X) account of Starfield posted on March 7, 2025 about the team having exciting plans slated for the game this year.
According to the post, the development team is currently working on something for the game but is not yet ready to reveal any specific details. They said that they have a lot of exciting things planned for 2025 and will share them when the time is right. Fans can expect something big for the update, as the developers mentioned that they are listening to fan feedback.
Game director Todd Howard previously mentioned how Starfield would hopefully have yearly DLC in an interview with MrMattyPlays on June 2024. This could mean that the exciting news Starfield posted may hint at another DLC expansion for the game.
Improving Starfield Since Release
Starfield was released in 2023 with critical acclaim but also received mixed reviews due to the game not delivering the same experience as previous Bethesda titles, such as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Regardless, Starfield became one of the highest-selling titles in 2023.
Since its launch, the game has rolled out several updates to improve features and mechanics and added new content.
