Silent Hill Livestream Set For March 13, 2025

2 years after its initial announcement, Silent Hill f is finally getting more details revealed in the upcoming Silent Hill livestream. Konami announced on their Silent Hill Official Twitter (X) account on March 11 that they will have SILENT HILL Transmission on March 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM PDT. According to the post, the upcoming Silent Hill livestream will reveal new information about Silent Hill f. This would possibly end the 2-year drought of fans not having any news regarding the game.

Silent Hill f did, however, receive a "19+" game rating from the South Korea Game Rating Administration Committee (GRAC) in January 2025 during this drought, but nothing more beyond this.

Silent Hill f Was First Announced in 2022

Silent Hill f was first announced during Silent Hill Transmission on October 19, 2022. Along with the announcement, Konami revealed a trailer that showcased the game’s theme and aesthetic. The game is set in 1960s Japan, and the story is written by renowned visual novelist Ryukishi07, known for psychological horror stories like Higurashi: When They Cry.

Silent Hill series Lead Producer Motoi Okamoto hand-picked Japanese VFX and animation company Shirogumi to develop the teaser trailer for Silent Hill f. In an interview with CGWorld in 2023, Shirogumi Director Hirohiro Komori shared his thoughts about developing a trailer for a Silent Hill game. He sought to showcase the uniquely Japanese aesthetic of beauty and horror. The team explained the intricacies they made to capture this idea, stating that "Even the smallest details are modeled in a rich and realistic manner."
