Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Invites All Trainers
Steam Pokémon Volcanion’s Debut Appearance
Niantic cordially invites Trainers all over the world to the upcoming Pokémon GO Fest 2025 happening this summer! Starting May 29th, the 2025 Pokémon GO Fest will be held in-person at the following locations:
⚫︎ May 29 - June 1 in Osaka, Japan (Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park)
⚫︎ June 6 - June 8 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
⚫︎ June 13 - June 15 in Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)
One of this year’s highlights is the debut appearance of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion. Ticket-holding Trainers to any of the events will have the opportunity to encounter the Pokémon through Special Research. However, Trainers must note that no matter how many Pokémon GO Fest 2025 tickets they acquire, each player is only granted one encounter with Volcanion. Surplus Special Research stories will instead net a Volcanion Candy.

Exclusive Festival Merchandise For Pre-Order
Spice up your celebration of the GO Fest with exclusive Pokémon GO Fest 2025 apparel and accessories! Choose from the official Pokémon GO Fest 2025 t-shirt, tote bag, hoodie, lapel pin, or Pokémon-themed backpacks. However, all items are only available through pre-order and are in limited stock. Pre-orders will then be claimed during the event proper.
Please note that the Lapel Pin accessory and the limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks are exclusive goods for Jersey City and Paris; these will not be claimable in the Osaka leg of the festival.
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global For Everyone
For those who are unable to attend the regional events, don’t fret! On June 28th and 29th, the Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global will be held online. As an online event, players from across the globe can participate. Tickets for the Global leg of the event entitles the ticket holder access to the festival’s exclusive Timed Research for Volcanion, as well as 5x Max Revives, 5x Rare Candies, and 3x Premium Battle Passes.
While Global event tickets are available to purchase up until the event’s last day on June 29th, Trainers who purchase tickets by April 15th and play Pokémon GO at any point between April 8th, 10 AM local time to April 15th, 10 AM local time will be treated to a special Timed Research that awards the player with an additional encounter with Skiddo.
