Earlier this week, MH Wilds posted on Twitter (X) on March 31 a message from Director Yuya Tokuda where he thanked fans for the support they have given the game and what’s next for the game. These include future updates, challenging monsters, balance and quality-of-life, improving game stability, and more.

Tokuda reminded fans of their upcoming free Title Update 1, releasing on April 14. He elaborated, "In addition to adding new content, such as the additional monster, Mizutsune, and the new multiplayer gathering location, the Grand Hub, we also plan to make various tweaks to the game."

There will also be an end-of-May update that will add "Tempered Monsters Gore Magala and the apex predators of each locale: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad."
