Minecraft Releases a New Dungeons and Dragons DLC
Developed by Everbloom Games, Minecraft’s Official Partner
On February 20, 2025, Everbloom Games announced the release of a Minecraft DLC, Dungeons & Dragons: A New Quest. In this game, you’ll follow the adventures of Katra and Vaer across the Forgotten Realms.
Follow Katra and Vaer’s quest to reunite Vaer’s souls with his body, which was stolen by unknown dark forces. Along their way, they will meet Thesserai the Sage, who likely holds the key to finding Vaer’s lost body. This journey is steeped with danger as yetis, kobolds, owlbears, and other hostile humanoids and creatures roam the land.
Despite being a Minecraft game, this DLC offers four characters from Dragons and Dungeons (D&D). These are barbarian, rogue, wizard, and paladin, offering unique gameplays for adventurers out there. Stats can also be modified in a true D&D fashion.
This is not a sequel to the first Dungeons & Dragons DLC released by Everbloom Games, so players can dive right into this game without playing the first one. The game costs around 1510 Minecoins, and you can purchase a 1600 pack for $9.99.
The First Dungeons & Dragons DLC
The first DLC focuses on a single character, living in a village where the townsfolk mysteriously disappear. Without anybody to explain this unusual event, you had to solve this mystery by yourself. However, worry not, as you’ll have an unlikely ally in the form of a dragon. Visit the iconic locations from D&D as you uncover the truth.
Aside from abilities, modifiable stats, and combat styles, this DLC offers fully-voiced characters, giving life to D&D in Minecraft. Battle foes like Mimics and Displacer Beasts, choose the best decision to move forward, and master combat in Dungeons & Dragons DLC.
As a special bonus, players who purchased this DLC can download a themed Character Creator item and a D&D Monstrous Compendium, including monsters from the base game like the Creepers and Ender Dragon.
This DLC also costs $9.99 if bought using the Minecoin pack from Minecraft’s marketplace. Leftover Minecoins can be saved up for future DLC purchases.
