 ⚫︎ The first gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XIV Mobile has been released via the game's official account on Chinese video platform Bilibili. The video showcases brief combat sequences featuring nine initial playable jobs: Warrior, Paladin, Bard, Black Mage, Summoner, Monk, Dragoon, Scholar, and White Mage. Although the characters shown are at low levels, the footage highlights a streamlined user interface optimized for touchscreen devices.

 ⚫︎ Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV Mobile, developed by Tencent-owned Lightspeed Studios, will begin with the A Realm Reborn storyline, allowing both longtime fans and newcomers to experience the MMORPG from its modern starting point.

The announcement follows months of speculation and was accompanied by a Q&A video featuring producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida, who clarified the game's narrative structure and rollout plans. While the mobile version will first be available in China, a global release is expected to follow.

Yoshida noted that the extensive content will be released gradually, with the update pace potentially adjusted based on player feedback.
