Duet Night Abyss’ Final Closed Beta is holding a global recruitment event starting May 13, 2025, 10:00 PM EST! According to Pan Studios, the test will be available on both PC and mobile platforms; good news for those who want to try the game out on the go.
There will only be a limited number of slots available to the public, though. For those interested in giving the game a try, they can gain access through lottery activities on the Duet Night Abyss official event page, or through the official website’s recruitment questionnaire.
There are other ways to secure a test slot for Duet Night Abyss’ upcoming beta. In addition to completing the official recruitment questionnaire, players can also participate in a variety of web events and social media campaigns; they can even win special prizes!

Alongside its social media activities, Duet Night Abyss is also launching an official content creator event. It’s inviting players to submit original works from videos, illustrations, memes, or other formats about their unique perspective on the game. Entries of all kinds can be submitted via the official event link for a chance to get test access and other exciting rewards.
However, while the slots will be given away at random, regardless of the method, there is a way for players to increase their chances of getting in. Game8 was able to obtain five slots for Duet Night Abyss’ beta, which can be yours by filling out this survey. This is unique from the one on the official event page in that the questions are simplified and reduced by around twelve, making it easier to fill out.

Duet Night Abyss Final Closed Beta to Feature Major Improvements
Choose Your Own Protagonist
Unlike in the previous test that followed a linear story progression from one of the two protagonists to the other, the latest closed beta test will allow players to freely choose between them. This allows a more immersive narrative at the player’s own agency. A new main storyline, Children from the Snowfield, is also set to unfold.
New Characters Revealed
Duet Night Abyss’ new trailer gives players a glimpse to the roster of new characters that will debut in the coming closed beta test. Each of them possess distinct skills and abilities, enhancing the game’s team-building and the strategic options available to the player.
They are also deeply connected to the main storyline; their backgrounds serve as flavor to behind-the-scenes events and offer players deeper insight into the narrative.
Visual Enhancements
As a response to player feedback, the Duet Night Abyss team will also implement large-scale improvements across the game’s visuals. Things such as environmental design, character models, animations, and UI will be refined based on comments. Lighting and shadows will also get much-needed retouches to create a much richer, more immersive atmosphere.
Character models are going to receive upgrades as well, allowing it to boast better textures, upgraded outfit physics, and more fluid movements. Lastly, the overhauled UI layout will offer a much cleaner look, smoothening navigation to significantly enhance the gameplay experience.
