BLEACH Rebirth of Souls Character Roster Count
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls (RoS) will be bringing all fan favorite characters from the manga and anime series to life in its first major video game in over a decade. RoS promises to be grand and spectacular as, across three different factions of the World of the Living, the Soul Society, and the Hueco Mundo, the game will field over 30 characters and counting!
There are currently a total of 31 distinct confirmed characters, where Ichigo Kurosaki has a separate playable Bankai form, totalling to 32 playable fighters.
World of the Living
Ichigo Kurosaki
Ichigo is a Substitute Soul Reaper who excels in close-range combat while wielding his sword, the Zangetsu. Though he is easy to use, he harbors an unknown power within him.
Ichigo Kurosaki (Bankai)
Ichigo in his Bankai form can crush enemies with wild and powerful rushes using his awakened powers, alongside his ultimate form in Full Hollowfication.
Uryu Ishida
Uryu is a Quincy who prefers to fight from afar utilizing his piercing long range attacks.
Yasutora Sado (Chad)
Chad is a gentle and quiet giant who can quickly turn into a strong and powerful fighter in the battlefield, able to change the tides of the battle with just a single, deadly punch
Kisuke Urahara
Kisuke is the owner and master of the URAHARA’s shop who can balance his duties in and out of the battlefield by being an all-rounded fighter at close range, whether offensively or defensively.
Shinji Hirako
Shinji is the strategic Leader of the Visored, exceptionally-minded and able to read and force the enemy choose from two options to then counterattack on the spot.

Rukia Kuchiki
Rukia is a Soul Reaper who can fight up close or from afar, adapting to her enemies with the vast resources at her disposal.
Byakuya Kuchiki
Byakuya is the captain of Squad 6 who leads with his tactical prowess over combat. He adapts his fighting style for each opponent, and promptly cuts them down using his blade, the Senbonzakura, to apply Spiritual Pressure.
Yoruichi Shihoin
Yoruichi is the Flash Master who makes use of her swift Hoho, allowing her to catch her opponents off guard and engage in close quarters combat.
Gin Ichimaru
Gin is the Captain of Squad 3 who has the fastest Zanpakuto among all, able to overwhelm his opponents with a single, precise blow stemming from his deceptive Blade Ballet.
Rangiku Matsumoto
Rangiku is the Lieutenant of Squad 10, able to turn her sword into ash while dotting across the battle to dodge attacks. Though she utilizes a straightforward Hado, she does so in tandem with counter-attacks in order to leave her enemies open to be struck.
Toshiro Hitsugaya
Toshiro is the captain of Squad 10, the youngest of all captains who rose through the ranks due to his ice-elemental Zanpakuto that freezes his enemies in their tracks.
Kenpachi Zaraki
Kenpachi is the captain of Squad 11 and the current successor of the powerful Kenpachi clan, inheriting their traits of overwhelming strength and resilience in the face of battle that can outlast the strongest enemies.
Kaname Tosen
Kaname is the blind captain of Squad 9 who, due to his lack of eyesight, has developed a unique way to visualize the battlefield with his opponents to counterattack accordingly.
Soi Fon
Soi is the captain of Squad 2 who inflicts deadly strikes with her speed and stinger, aggressively applying pressure to create openings to achieve instant victory through her win condition.
Izuru Kira
Izuru is the lieutenant of Squad 3 and inflicts his opponents with the powerful malaise within his heart, slowing and halting them to a stop to force them to make choices that will lead to their demise.

Shunsui is the stylish captain of Squad who is able to dominate and confuse the field of battle with his dual-Zanpakuto, allowing him to perform unique moves.
Sajin Komamura
Sajin is the proud captain of Squad 6 who uses his noble herculean strength to perform wide and heavy damage across the battle lines.
Shuhei Hisagi
Shuhei is the subtly-distraught lieutenant of Squad 9 who is a master of Zan Ken So Ki techniques, but reaches his full potential and becomes stronger by accepting his fears.
Ikkaku Madarame
The lucky third seat of Squad 11, he has an unprecedented amount of luck on his side compared to everyone in Soul Society, able to turn the results of the battle in an instant, even against superior opponents, by fighting in close range.

Shiba is the Lieutenant of Squad 13, and fights with superior skill utilizing his lengthy trident, allowing him to be a well-rounded fighter in combat.

Ulquiorra Shifar
Ulquiorra is the Cuatro Espada has near-unlimited Reishi recovery that he utilizes to exhaust and outlast the enemy, and overwhelms them with the second stage of Resurrección.
Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck
Nelliel is the former Tres Espada who fights by releasing Gamuza that can attack from afar to attack enemies with long-range strikes. She can also unleash all her stored strength with a single burst, annihilating any enemy unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast.
Grimmjow Jeagerjaques
Grimmjow is the Sexta Espada is an opportunistic fighter, able to turn the fiercest adversities over by taking the first chance at victory. By entering his Annihilation and Decimation states, he can increase his strength but at the cost of his other abilities.
Sosuke Aizen
The former captain of Squad 5 possesses a Spiritual pressure that trumps any and all Soul Reapers, coupled with his seemingly limitless power. He defeats his enemies in overwhelming fashion through his sheer power conditioned through any situation in a fight.

Szayelaporro is Octava Espada, the perfect life-form who can strengthen himself to break out of any disadvantageous situation,
Nnoitora Gilga
Nnoitora, the Quinta Espada, has an obsession in his mind to become the strongest, and such, uses full-frontal attacks and trusts his Hierro to demolish his enemies in battle.
Tier Halibel
Halibel is the former Tres Espada and becomes stronger than more damage and attacks she inflicts upon enemies in a combo.
Coyote Stark
Stark was the Primera Espada, capable of tremendous firepower from afar by firing Cera in quick bursts.
