Professor Layton and the New World of Steam - Teaser Trailer

Developer Level 5 released a new teaser trailer for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam as part of the Level5 Vision 2023 Livestream.

Although the gameplay was not shown in the teaser, we know that the story takes place one year after Luke's departure for America in Professor Layton and the Unwound/Lost Future, and Luke Triton has become a bit of a detective in the new continent filled with steam and machines. Layton suddenly receives a letter from Luke, inviting him to solve a new mystery and quick puzzles in Steam Bison, America.

The trailer also revealed that Yo Oizumi will be returning as Hershel Layton’s voice alongside Mio Amada serving as Luke's new voice. The popular puzzle and riddle youtube channel in Japan, QuizKnock will design the puzzles and create a brand-new set of original brainteasers for the latest game in the series.

While a release date was not announced, Level 5 Vision 2023 announced that all of the studio's upcoming games will be released worldwide in 2023 and 2024.
