Warframe: 1999 Overview
Warframe: 1999 is an expansion of the main game and is set to release on December 13, 2024. The game is the telling of the events that spurred the main story of Warframe into life, where the mysterious actions of the Orokin scientist Albrecht Entrati and his experiments with the Void. The main plot line follows The Hex, a group of Protoframes that are highly-skilled humans seemingly the prototypes of the Warframes in the future, where all are hybrids of humans and Infested DNA, giving them superhuman skills and abilities.

Warframe: 1999 Gameplay
Warframe: 1999 carries much of the core 3rd-person shooting and ability-based combat Warframe has, where players can equip and wield a large variety of primary, secondary, and melee weapons to take down their enemies. What’s more, each character (Warframes, or in this case, Protoframes), can perform unique abilities that can easily turn the tides of battle in a flash. Not to forget, but a staple of the game is in its mobility, particularly the Bullet Jump that allows players to traverse and weave in the battlefield with grace and ease.
As Warframe: 1999 will star a full cast of characters where players will mainly control Arthur, it will also have a new mechanic added in the game: romance! Players will be able to build their relationships among the several members of The Hex and perhaps even reach a certain level of romance and intimacy.
