Players take on the role of a survivor trying to uncover the truth behind Arkham’s downfall. Armed with period-accurate firearms and knowledge of the occult, they must rely on ingenuity, reflexes, and mental resilience to survive the horrors lurking in the city’s ruins.
The game builds upon its predecessor’s mechanics while introducing new features that expand its depiction of an occult-infused 1920s America. Its revamped investigation system offers flexibility, allowing players to carefully gather every clue for a thorough understanding or piece together just enough information to push forward into action.
Combat has been refined with an improved arsenal of historically accurate weapons, each with its own strengths and drawbacks, requiring careful resource management.
