GTA 6 Overview
Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is an upcoming game developed by Rockstar Studios for the Grand Theft Auto franchise. It will be the eighth major installment in the series, following Grand Theft Auto V, which was released in 2013. Development for the game was confirmed in February 2022, with an official announcement following in December 2023.
GTA 6 will be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025, with a PC version anticipated at a later, undisclosed date. Broader estimates place the release window within the third and fourth quarters of the same year, with Rockstar themselves attesting to a release in Fall 2025.

GTA 6 Gameplay
GTA 6 will be an open-world action-adventure game set in the fictional region of Vice City, Leonida. Other than that, not much can be confirmed about its gameplay due to the lack of officially-released information. It's speculated that it may resemble the more recent Red Dead Redemption 2, with features a mix of action and exploration, and everything from gunfights to horseback riding and hunting. Alternatively, it could more closely mirror its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5, which focuses more on the sandbox experience with non-linear storytelling and a very open career path.
