Drag x Drive Overview
Drag x Drive is a 3v3 basketball game on wheelchairs! Being developed and published by Nintendo, the action sports simulation game is set to arrive for the Nintendo Switch 2 in Summer of 2025. The game looks to be one of the first games developed with the JoyCon2 in mind, existing as a proof of concept game to utilize the new controllers.

Drag x Drive Gameplay
Drag x Drive is a team-based 3v3 basketball game on wheelchairs, where players can only move by using both of their JoyCon2 controllers as mice across flat surfaces in order to propel their characters on the field. Sliding both JoyCons at the same time will wheel the characters accordingly. Once a player gains control of the ball, they can raise their hand and perform a throwing motion in order to shoot the ball in-game. They can also raise their hands to wave and signal with their teammates to communicate in the middle of the round, allowing for strategies to unfold.
