According to the game's PlayStation store page, it appears that the July 17 release date is for Japan, as it will be coming out for the United States on July 16 at around 7 p.m. EDT / 4 p.m. PDT.
Those who pre-order the game's Deluxe Edition available only from Steam and the PlayStation store will be privy to two-days advanced access ahead of the game's official release.

Initial Delay to 2025
Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact was previously slated for a 2024 release, but was delayed to 2025 as the developers believed the then current state of the game would not have been enjoyable for fans of the franchise. To do so, they spent the extra time to implement Rollback Netcode, a feature in which will allow online play to become more responsive.
