Infinity Nikki offers compensation for the issues in version 1.5’s release. Read on to learn more about what players will get due to the game’s shortcomings and what developer Infold Games plans to do.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates

Free Diamonds as Compensation

Infinity Nikki released version 1.5 with much anticipation from fans, as developer Infold Games promised a lot of things for the update, which they have failed to uphold. In a Twitter (X) post on May 18, Infold Games addressed the issue and offered compensation for their "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content."

The update gave the game a slew of technical issues and bugs across different platforms, with some problems rendering the game unplayable. Sudden changes to their systems were also implemented, increasing the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces. This raised the maximum amount of pulls needed to complete an outfit to 220, making it significantly more expensive and time-consuming for players to get full sets.

Additionally, a new dye system was introduced, which players found confusing and tedious, as it requires unlocking color palettes for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was also removed in this update as the outfit associated with the event is still in development. "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion," they stated.

Due to player feedback, Infold Games stated, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond *120 and Energy Crystal *1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond *960 and Energy Crystal *8."

However, despite acknowledging the issues and giving compensation, the studio has yet to present its plans to fix these. Fans swarmed the comments section with their concerns, such as the pity change, failure of the dye system, other bugs, and more.

Delayed Version 1.6

Because of the blundered release of version 1.5, the developers have decided to extend version 1.5 to have more time to address the issues. As such, version 1.6 will be delayed until June 12, 2025, which also affects the release and schedule of the events in-game.

Moreover, the new weekly task Starlit Pursuit, originally scheduled for May 20, will now debut in version 1.6. According to Infold Games, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way

The developers are just scratching the surface with all the problems version 1.5 has produced. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates." Infold explained.

They plan to improve their communication with players by launching a new initiative called the Miraland Round Table, where players can send their concerns and share feedback directly to the developers. Players can access this via emailing the game’s official email account and attaching "Table Advisor" in the subject line, or going through the Customer Service option in-game.

Infold Games feels "guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They promise to make the game "shine brighter than ever."
