Velgar Meteor Fix and Cloud Saves

It has been a few weeks since RuneScape: Dragonwilds shadow-dropped its early access, and fans continue to enjoy this open-world survival game. Developer Jagex posted on Steam on May 2 the patch notes for their upcoming 0.7.3 update featuring cloud saves, a Velgar meteor fix, and more.

One of the game’s main features is the devastating dragons that roam the Fellhollow region, with Velgar currently sitting as its fiercest. Although the fire-breathing menace is meant to be challenging, the developers might have added a feature that makes him deadlier.

Currently, his meteor attacks go straight through the roofs of player bases, leaving them with nowhere to seek shelter. According to the developers, the upcoming patch will address this, assuring that the "meteors raining down from the Scaly Scourge should be less of a problem now."

Another highlight of the next update is Cloud Saves, which allows players to have their save files available on any of their devices. This has been a fan-requested feature since its release, and players now won’t need a local backup for their saves.

Meanwhile, Jagex promises to delve deeper into players’ feedback, emphasizing its importance in building the game. With this, the fans have supported Dragonwilds in its early access, with it having "Very Positive" reviews on Steam. Here at Game8, we think that the game has a lot of potential with its solid foundation, but still has room for improvement. Other Minor Fixes

Beyond the Velgar meteor fix and the addition of cloud saves, Jagex aims to provide more minor fixes and improvements to the game. These include better visibility on some NPCs, working status effect immunity, fixes on some parts of the world where players get stuck, and more.

Additionally, the art team is analyzing the feedback around the bloom and blur option. This is an important aspect attached to the "aesthetic and artstyle that makes this game so pretty." They are also working on some legalities regarding modding and will have a separate news post to discuss the matter with everyone.

With just over 2 weeks since its launch, Jagex has made multiple adjustments to the game, much to the delight of many fans, with how much emphasis the studio has with player feedback.
