Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 continues to enjoy massive success, hitting milestones and growing its fanbase further. With all that excitement in the air, Expedition 33 Lead Writer Jennifer Svedberg-Yen responded to fans on Instagram and answered various questions about the game. Most notably, people are curious whether they have plans for future content, or even see previous expeditions.
Svedberg-Yen did not confirm any DLC plans, but gave fans a positive response that could point to the game receiving an expansion sometime down the road. She stated, "We’ve always said if there is strong desire from the players that we would love to do something more, and based on the response so far, I’d say chances are good."
She also said they are still trying to process everything that has happened, since the game was released less than a week ago. It remains to be seen whether the game will explore having a DLC, but it’s clear that the people from Sandfall Interactive are interested in doing so. Given that Expedition 33 is currently the highest-rated game of 2025 with its aggregate score of 92 in Metacritic, the future looks bright for the French studio.

Due to its continued popularity, copies of Expedition 33 are now sold out in various retailers. Sandfall Interactive revealed on Twitter (X) on April 30 that they have been made aware that physical editions of the game are sold out in different local distributors.
They said, "Our distribution partners are looking into re-stocking! Sorry, the demand has been higher than expected in many regions. Please stay in touch with your local stores for more info." This comes as no surprise with how fans have supported the game since its release, selling over 1 million copies in 3 days.
